SallyAnn Salsano - Founder and President

Founder and President of 495 Productions, Sally Ann Salsano’s creative instincts and love of television led her from the University of Missouri to producer of “appointment television.”

A Long Island native (hence the 495 Expressway referenced in her company name), Salsano started her career interning at “The Howard Stern Show” and "Sally Jesse Raphael Show.” After working at Sally Jesse Raphael for 5 years and ascending to a producer on the show, she relocated to Los Angeles and broadened her experience, working on a variety of talk and game shows.

Quickly recognizing the reality television phenomenon and becoming an instant fan, Salsano tackled the genre and produced numerous non-scripted shows including numerous seasons of ABC’s “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette,” “Trista & Ryan's Wedding,” and “Extreme Makeover: Wedding Edition.” She also worked for FOX on “Surprise Weddings I & II” as well as numerous projects for Dick Clark, Sony, Telepictures, Paramount, Tribune and MTV.

Salsano launched 495 Productions with instant hits including 3 seasons of HGTV‘s #1 rated show “Design Star,” Style Network’s “The Big Party Plan-Off”, MTV’s “A Shot At Love” and VH1’s “Tool Academy”.

Her upcoming 495 shows include new seasons of HGTV’s “Design Star” and MTV’s “A Shot at Love”, and new series- Oxygen’s “Dance Your Ass Off”, and HGTV ‘s “$250,000 Challenge”. Salsano currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
